James C. Wrensch was born on August 3, 1946 in Madison, Wisconsin. He was the son of Vernon and Evelyn (Kleinsteiber) Wrensch. He grew up in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. After school he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. While in Germany he was married and had two children, Diana and Mario. He returned to the United States after his military duty and was married to Candace and had two children, Elizabeth and Robert. He operated a roofing company for many years and then became a certified welder in California. He was very proud to be a quality welder. He moved from California to Wisconsin because it was better for Elizabeth and Robert. James loved animals and having pets around. He was unable to find work as a welder so he became an over the road trucker, a job he loved and was still doing when he passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the age of 67 years.
James is survived by his children: Diana Wrensch and her children Jessica and Matthias; Mario and his son Kevin; daughter Elizabeth and son Robert.. He also leaves his parents Vernon and Evelyn Wrensch as well as siblings: Dan, Ricky and Sherry. He was preceded in death by his wife Candace.
Memorial services will be held on Friday January 3, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a time of visitation from 4 to 6 pm prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later time at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.
