Jenay Lois Poidinger, born October 29, 1941, in St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully at the Willow Ridge Healthcare Center, on March 4, 2018. She was the only daughter of the late Jalmar and Lois Johnson. She was predeceased by the love of her life, husband, Jack Poidinger.
Jenay is survived by her son, Jay (Denise) Poidinger and her daughter, Jodi (Brian) Newville; grandson, Tyler Poidinger and step-grandson, Brenden Newville; brothers, Joel Johnson and Mark (Janet) Johnson; brother-in-law, Bill (Anita) Poidinger; and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Home located at 536 Snelling Avenue, St. Paul, MN on March 10, 2018, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., followed by a short service at 11:30 a.m. and a luncheon thereafter. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN.
