Jeremy Joel Baker, age 42, died suddenly at his home in Amery, Wisconsin on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. He was born in Red Wing, Minnesota on August 8, 1971 the son of Neal and Bonnie Baker. Jeremy attended Amery School District and graduated from Amery High School in 1989. Jeremy lived in Amery and worked as a carpenter and caretaker. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycle, and spending time with his best friend, a German Shepherd named Ryder. Jeremy will be especially remembered for his kind hearted spirit and eagerness to help others. He is survived by his parents, Neal and Bonnie; siblings: Martin, Rose and Erynne; grandparents: Gerald and Lorraine Olson and Jeremy's dog, Ryder.


Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 131 Broadway St. East in Amery. There will be a visitation time at the church for the hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at the Wagon Landing Cemetery on Monday.
