Joanne Adele (Bowers) Hemauer passed away on April 24, 2026, in Amery, WI.

Joanne was born on March 12, 1937 to Harry and Barbara (Copeland) Bowers. She was the oldest of their 12 children.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Hemauer on October 3, 1966 and they celebrated 59 years, 6 months and 21 days until her death.

Joanne was known for her kindness, charismatic nature and her large social circle.  She was the friend everyone could count on! She enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling, traveling and just spending time with her "people"!

Joanne enjoyed her close bond with her daughter, Deb, and loved her sons almost as much, lol!

Joanne was preceded in death by her son Mark Steven Frankson, her grandson Bradley Robert Vance, her parents Harry and Barbara Bowers, her siblings John Bowers, Jim Bowers, Joseph Bowers and Janet (Bowers) Raska, and her brothers–in law Frank Raska and Gordy Hoisington.

She is survived by her Husband Jerry, children Deb (Rick) Frankson, Dan Frankson, Bruce (Bobbi Jo) Hemauer and Bob Hemauer, siblings, Judy Hoisington, Jerry (Pam) Bowers, Fred (Nora) Bowers, Linda (Wayne) England, Jeff (Joan) Bowers, Mary (Tom) Haffer and Michael (Saundra) Bowers. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many, many nieces and nephews.

At the request of Joanne, a traditional funeral will not take place. Instead a Celebration of Life will be held on July 5, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Large Shelter in the Clear Lake Park.
