John Tomars, resident of Clayton, WI for the past 20 years, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by his family as he had wished. He was born to Joseph and Aurore (Miranda) Tomars in Duluth, MN. John was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Charlene of 53 years, 2 daughters, 3 sons, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He loved them all deeply.

John was a "one of a kind" and very talented man who loved God, his family, and keeping busy. John loved to garden, play the piano, write songs and poetry, paint pictures, feed and watch the birds, remodel, help with his and Charlene's small vintage shop, and just enjoy nature and God's creations. He is, and always will be, greatly missed.

Funeral services will be at 4:00pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place at the Amery Cemetery.
