Julius Selle, age 79 of Hudson, WI passed away on November 26, 2011 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Julius was born on February 7, 1932 in Clayton, WI to Henry and Susanna (Kitzmann) Selle. He went to school in Clayton and after school he joined the Army for 2 years. When he returned home he went to work at Andersen Window Corp. in Bayport, MN. He worked there for 36 years before retiring in 1989. He married Alice Alfstad on January 12, 1957 and together they had one child, Randy who also works at Andersen's. After marriage they made Clayton their home and in 1960 moved to Hudson. Julius was a member of the Dairyland Chapter Antique Car Club and enjoyed old cars, fishing and doing crafts, especially Packer crafts. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leonard Selle. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Alice; son, Randy; granddaughter, Amanda Selle and also sisters, Ruth Macoskey of Florence, CO; Cleona Reynolds of Glendora, CA and Edna Kahl of New Holstein, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 2, 2011 from First Lutheran Church in Amery, WI. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Williamson~White Funeral Home in Amery, as well as the hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers are Willis Selle, Bob Benson, Kenneth Jeske, Wayne Graunke, Tom Leisz and Alan Johnson. Interment will be at the Clayton Cemetery.
