Lawrence "Larry" Bedford passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 84.  He was born on November 21, 1937 to William Hays and Violet (Herbig) Bedford in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He grew up in Grand Rapids, moving to Amery, Wisconsin, in 1967 to work at Belle Cheese, eventually transferring to the F & A Dairy when Belle Cheese closed.  He worked in the cheese business for 50 years before retiring in November, 2017.  Larry enjoyed lake life, doing yard work, watching Michigan football, fishing, going to the cabin with his sons and grandsons, and spending time with family.  He had a strong work ethic and a great sense of humor.  Larry is preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother, Richard.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hanna; his children, Lindy (Randy) Olson, Bob (Kathy) Bedford, Cheryl (Michael) Ortega, Diane (Bret) Lenz, Michelle (Chris) Weber and Brian (Emily) Bedford; sister, Carolyn (Angelo) Terranova, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery.  A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:00 am prior to the service.  Burial will take place at the Amery Cemetery.  To sign an online guest book and view a video tribute visit www.williamsonwhite.com .
