Linda Kay Carlson was born on February 14, 1945 to Harold and Viola (Hagen) Carlson. She grew up in the Wanderoos, WI area where she attended the Wanderoos School from grades one through eight. She graduated from Amery High School in 1963. After graduation, she worked several years at Fabri-Tek. In 1969 she married Keith Westlund. In 1978, she and her husband adopted their son, Kyle and she was a homemaker for several years. After returning to work, for many years she cleaned homes for a living and assisted many homebound people. Linda enjoyed boating with her husband and friends and traveling throughout the Midwest. She enjoyed taking a long walk every day, usually with her husband or neighborhood friends. Linda died on May27 at Sacred Heart Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Viola (Hagen) Carlson, her father, Harold Carlson, and her brothers, David and Loren Carlson. She is survived by her husband, Keith Westlund and her son, Kyle Westlund. She will be missed greatly by family and friends. May she rest in peace. A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. Interment will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Garfield Township.
