Lois Arlene Lovgren, age 89 of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Deerfield Gables in New Richmond. Lois was born on October 19, 1928 in Amery, Wisconsin to Henry Louis and Tina (Bruner) Carlson. She grew up in Amery and attended elementary school at the Apple River Park School and attended Amery High School. On July 27, 1946 Lois was united in marriage to Ray Johnson. They made their home in Chetek, Wisconsin where Lois worked for several different industries. Together they raised five children, and in 1963 the family moved to Amery where Lois worked for Fabri Tek for 15 years, and then was employed for many years at Kroy Industries. After Ray's passing, Lois was united in marriage to Ellis Glen Lovgren on August 12, 1999 in Las Vegas. Lois was baptized and confirmed at Balsam Lutheran Church and then became a member of Little Falls Lutheran Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, gardening, attending her children's activities and later her grandchildren's activities. Lois was also an avid sports fan and liked watching the Twins and Vikings. Later in life she also enjoyed traveling. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brothers, David, Marvin and Eugene; a son, Michael Johnson; grandchild, Jacob Brandt and son in law, Jerry Cords. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Cords, Mary Johnson, Debra Kay (Kris Weidler) and daughter in law, Diane Johnson; son, John Henry (Pamela); 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren as well as other loving family and friends. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Little Falls Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will take place at the Sand Lake Cemetery.
