Lois Eileen Pearson, 70, of Centuria, WI passed away after a battle with lung cancer surrounded by family on March 3, 2017 in Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 8, 2017, 2:00- 3:00 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home. service begins at 3:00 at the Williamson- White Funeral Home in Amery Wisconsin. Following the services a celebration of life will be held at the VFW Post 6856 in Milltown, WI.

Lois was born in Osceola, WI to Louis and Pearl Kastens on September 1, 1946. She went to school at Osceola School. She married Laverne E. Pearson on October 29, 1966 in Osceola, WI. They started their family in St Paul, MN. She worked at Kaplan's Paperbox Company, Amtek and retired from Unity School.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Pearl, husband Laverne; Siblings: Ida Geraldine, Louis Jay, Evelyn Lorraine, Delores Viola and John Wendel.

Lois is survived by her loving husband David Fletcher, children; Lee Pearson, Todd Pearson, Tammi (Charlie) Satak; grandchildren: Matt Pearson, Chris Eizler, Andrew Nichols, Jake, Emily and one great-grandchild Gibson Nichols; Loving step-children: Geoff Fletcher, Annie Fletcher, Laura (Karl) Madsen, Sarah (David) Haas and step-grandchildren: David Vann, Nolan Madsen, Clara Haas and Ruby Haas. Siblings: Hazel Johnson; Marcella (Roger) Howard; Dorothy Heichel; and Alvin (Patricia) Kastens.

Lois was full of love and laughter; she enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and anything outdoors. She happily volunteered at the VFW Post at fish fries and honor guard. Lois adored her grandkids and loved their frequent visits, hugs and tickles. Lois traveled every year to Bayfield for the Apple Festival with her daughter and a group of crazy, kilt-chasing close friends and family.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Amery Regional Hospital staff particularly Sheila and Kathleen and Abbott Northwestern ICU Hospital staff.
