Lydia Mae Johnson (Christensen), 66 Lydia Mae Johnson was granted her angel wings on October 8th 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched throughout her very memorable life.

Lydia was born December 2, 1943, in Shafer, MN., to August and Mae Christensen.
She graduated from Luck High School and later enjoyed working as a secretary. Lydia was a devoted member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and she enjoyed crafts, reading, shopping, and mostly spending time with family and friends.
Lydia is survived by her sister, Marian Edler, brothers Paul (Judy) and Jerry (Gladys) Christenson, daughter, Sandra Swanson, son, Scott Kastens (Sherry); son-in-law, Scott Berry; daughter in law Carol Kastens, grandchildren Nicholas Swanson , Danielle Everling (Swanson), Mark Berry, Kristina Berry, Lisa Nelson and Scott Nelson,10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Lydia is preceded in death by her husband, Jon Johnson, parents, August and Mae Christensen, sisters, Elaine Butler, Viola Smith, and Ethel Parduhn, and brother August Jr (Bud). She will be missed greatly by all her family and everyone who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 12, 2010 at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 3:00 p.m. 600 Keller Ave S Amery, WI 54001 with Rev. Ryan Barnes officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to services from 1 to 3:00 pm on Tuesday at the church. Music will be provided by Debra Raether and Arlen Peterson. Pallbearers for the service will be Nicholas Swanson, Louis Everling, Mark Berry, Christopher Tourville, Alvin Kastens, and Randy Richter; honorary pallbearers will be Jon Johnson's family Roger, Orval, Richard and Joanne.
