Lynn Robert Merriman of Clayton, WI passed away on October 31, 2026, with family by his side. Lynn was born March 29, 1947, in Red Wing, MN to Everal (Bud) and Donna Merriman. Lynn graduated from River Falls High School in 1965. He enlisted in the Air Force after graduation and set up communication sites around the world.

Lynn had 2 children with his first wife Carol (Johnson) Merriman. He married his second wife Laurie (Olson) Merriman in Sturgis, SD in 1995. He enjoyed riding and working on Harley Davidson motorcycles, and playing golf with family and friends in Wisconsin as well as his winter home in Texas.

Lynn is survived by his two children Craig (Linda) of Ely, MN and Amanda, Clayton, WI; five grandchildren Mackenzie (Matt), Beau (Theresa), Alex (Grace), Sean, and Elizabeth; one great grandchild Peyton. His brother Edward (Cynthia) of Rio Rancho, NM and his first wife and friend Carol.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laurie; his parents, and his brother Terrence.
