Margaret L. Serier was born in Amery, Wisconsin on October 18, 1925 the daughter of Louis and Annie Johnson. She grew up in the Amery area and attended rural school. On December 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to Donald Serier and to this union four children were born. They farmed together for many years in rural Clayton, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Marsh Lake Church until it closed. She was comfortable just being home and was a very good baker. Margaret passed away at the Amery Hospital on Saturday morning August 20, 2016 at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, son Douglas and one grandson Jason. Surviving family members include her sons: Duane and David and one daughter Diane. She also leaves 8 grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.


Memorial services will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. There will be a time of visitation for the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Marsh Lake Cemetery in rural Clayton.
