Marilyn Louise Frank was born on July 24, 1918 in Polk County, Wisconsin the daughter of Ernest and Hilma (Olson) Johnson. She stayed on the family farm near Clear Lake, Wisconsin. On February 24, 1941 she was united in marriage to Abner Frank in Emerald, Wisconsin and together they had three children. They stayed on the farm for over 40 years. She worked at Green Giant for five years and then spent 10 years as a cook at the Amery Hospital. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She was very talented at crafts and loved to square dance. In 2002 she moved to Golden Age Manor where she went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2009 at the age of 91.
Her parents, husband Abner, and daughter Maryanne Frank preceded her in death. Left to mourn are her children: Shirley (LeRoy) Nelson and Bruce (Susie) Frank; Sister Lorraine (Douglas) Booth. She also leaves three grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Keith Ruehlow officiating. Organist was Helen Osborn. Casketbearers were: Stephanie O'Brien, Nicole Knoernschild, Chad O'Brien, Chris Nelson, LeRoy Nelson and Bruce Frank. Interment was at the Clear Lake Cemetery. The Williamson-White Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Amery assisted the family with arrangements.
