Obituary

Marlene Bertha Miller was born on March 29, 1937 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Martin and Clara (Guse) Hansen. As a child she was raised in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. She attended school in Clear Lake and graduated from the Clear Lake High School in 1955. After graduating high school Marlene moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. She lived on Grand Avenue in St. Paul and worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield. In May of 2002, at the age of 67, she was united in marriage to Bruce Miller. Marlene and Bruce sold their homes in the St. Paul area and moved to Amery, Wisconsin. Marlene enjoyed square dancing and was active with a truck club as well as a button club. On December 1, 2015 Marlene passed away at her residence at the Deerfield Gables where she had been most recently been residing. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bruce Miller. She is survived by her brother Harley (Sharon) Hansen, her twin sister Maxine Arvilla, brother in law Greg (Mary) Miller, nieces Cindy (Joe) Radatz, Shelley (Al) Reimers and Heidi (Brad) Lorenzetti; nephews Kevin (Paula) Hansen and Paul Arvilla; as well as other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Amery, WI with Pastor Tom Hahn officiating. Burial will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church.
