Marlene (Molly) Loretta Munkelwitz, age 81, of Clear Lake, Wisconsin passed away on December 25, 2016 at her home.
Marlene was born on March 26, 1935 to Helmer L. and Evelyn (Sanderson) Peterson in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1953. On August 28, 1954 she married Vernon Albert and together they had 2 children, Dean and Doreen.
Marlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson until she moved to Clear Lake, Wisconsin. In her free time she loved bowling, traveling, watching the Green Bay Packers, but most of all loved going to the Clam Falls Campground. She was dearly loved at the Campground and will be dearly missed.
Marlene is survived by a son, Dean (Sherri) Munkelwitz; a daughter, Doreen (Bill) Bradley; significant other, Randall Ersland; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wayne Peterson and Howard Swanson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Amery United Congregational Church of Christ with Pastor Barry Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 – 12 PM on Saturday January 7, 2017. Burial will held at a later date in the spring.
