Marvel J. Jackson, age 90, of Amery, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Amery Hospital & Clinic.

Marvel was born on June 6, 1926 to Rollo and Vernia (Frey) Beebe in New Richmond, Wisconsin. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1943. On June 2, 1946 she was united in marriage to Hollis Jackson and from this union 2 children were born. Marvel was an avid bowler in her younger years. In her free time she loved to gardening and to go fishing.

Marvel is survived by her 2 sons, Richard (Beth) Jackson and Robert "Bob" (Joanne) Jackson; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Adam, Amanda, John, Emily, Katie; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Beebe; a sister-in-law, Arlene Beebe. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and other brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Amery United Congregational Church of Christ with Pastor Barry Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at a later date in the spring.
