Mary was born September 20, 1939 to Otto and Dalla Hove. She was one of ten children.

On January 3, 1959, she married Dean Holden and together they raised 3 children. She was employed by the Pierce County Courthouse and then assisted Dean in their Real Estate business.

What brought her the most joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, chocolate, farkel, playing cards, spray painting and Diet Coke.

Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dean; daughters, Kari (Chris) and LuAnne (Erik), and son, Greg; brothers, David (Mary) and Barry (Rita) and sister, Ann; grandchildren, Elliott (Chelsey), Estelle, Cody, Zach, Alesha and Drake (Olivia); great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Ezra, Maylie, Lennon and Jalen; brother-in-law, Bruce; and sister-in-law, Dawn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Dalla; and siblings, Joe, Junior, Claire, Donnie, Carol and Judy.

There will be a private family Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association .
