It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden unexpected passing of Michael E. Wilson of Amery, Wisconsin. After two successful cancer surgeries, Mike had just returned to his passion of working full time on Monday, July 16 when he was suddenly called to help his Lord in heaven. Grieve, but do not mourn Mike's passing. Although only 67 years old, Mike had been blessed with a full and complete life and was fully prepared to take the next step in his relationship with his Lord and Savior and was glad to answer the call.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his father, Wallace. He leaves behind his beloved wife Sherry, four children by a previous marriage: April, Mike Jr.(Sabina), Ryan (Cherae), and Aaron, Sherry's four children he loved as his own: Ronda (Bernie) Ohmann, Ryan (Tara) Lee, Rachelle (Jeremy Wood) Helin, and Reggie (Kirsten) Lee, five sisters Carolyn Holmstadt, Janet Wilson, Nancy Newville, Mary Collins, and Lori (John) Courneya, twelve grandchildren, one great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, July 23, at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery and 1 prior to services at the church on Tuesday. A funeral service in celebration of Mike's extraordinary life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 24 at Little Falls Lutheran Church in Amery with Loren Teig officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
