Nancy Marie Hatella passed away on September 24, 2025. She was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on September 12, 1934 to Archie and Gladys Hanscom. They moved to Frederic, WI in 1939, and soon after the move her father died.

Nancy and her mother then moved to Range, WI where she graduated from Amery High School in 1952. She married Bernard Hatella on July 1, 1952.

Bernard was stationed in Triste, Italy and Nancy joined him shortly after he was deployed. When they returned home, they lived in Rice Lake, WI. They then moved to New Richmond. After just two years, they purchased the Amery Bakery. Nancy did the books and payroll.

She loved reading, dancing, crocheting doilies, putting puzzles together, riding motorcycle, dominos, playing 500 and hand and foot at the Amery Community Center.

Preceding her in death were her father, Archie; mother, Gladys; sister, Arlene (Boots) Hartley; premature baby boy; son, Randy; and grandson, Jon Pankonien.

Surviving are daughters, Pam (Jim) Pankonien and Kathy (Ron) Hansen; sons, Mark (Carla) Hatella and Scott (Cindy) Hatella; grandchildren, Jackie (Dave) Votsis, Alesha Hatella, Zach Hatella, Shawn Hatella, Gavin Hansen, Erica Hatella, Kayla Turany and Amanda Kieckhoefer; and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Amery, WI with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place at the New Richmond Cemetery.
