Otis Arthur Glenna was born in Rushford, MN on July 5th, 1915; the son of Alfred and Mary (Tuftin) Glenna. When he was four, the family moved from Rushford to Gilman, WI. Otis began working on the family farm at a young age and at 14 he began to work hauling milk. Soon after, he left to work the river bottoms as a sawyer for several years with his brother Alvin.

On October 2, 1939 he united in marriage to Lena Pleska; to this union seven boys were born. In 1947, Otis and Lena bought their farm in Georgetown, WI. It was here that they raised their family, farmed until the early eighties and lived out their retirement. Otis passed away at the age of 94 at his farm on December 31st, 2009. He enjoyed fishing year round, deer hunting, many fishing trip to Canada, picking berries, gardening and visiting with neighbors, friends and family.

Otis was preceded in death by wife Lena, sons Everett, Ronald & Donald, his parents Alfred & Mary, brothers Norman, Roy, Alvin, Merle & Clifford and sister Evelyn. He is survived by his four sons, Jerry (Julie) Glenna of White Bear Lake, MN, Bob (Rita) Glenna of Amery, WI, Dennis (Carol) Glenna of Balsam Lake, WI & Jim (Judy) Glenna of St Croix Falls, WI, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, sisters Flora Olin & Grace Robinson, brothers Vernie Glenna and Arden Glenna, sisters-in-law Ann Etten and Wanda Pleska along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5th, 11:00 am at Georgetown Lutheran church with Pastor Neal Weltzin officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 4th from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI and one hour preceding the service.
