Pamela Olson age 59 of St. Paul, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Pamela Jean Olson was born on March 7, 1957 in St Paul MN. She was the first of three daughters born to Arvid and Marlys Olson. She was baptized April 7th in 1957 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Amery WI. She was confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in 1972 and Luther League at OSLC was also an important part of her life. Her parents returned to Amery in 1958 when she was a year old. Growing up in Amery she enjoyed being involved in Brownies and Girls Scouts. She liked "clowning around" and performing for different occasions. Later she was a Girl Scout leader. She attended school in Amery and graduated in 1975. She went on to attend UW- Stout and Century College where she received a degree in interior design. She worked several years in retail design before becoming a sales representative for Kirsch Fabric and Warren Shade, a distributer of Hunter Douglas. Where she enjoyed traveling the 5 state Mid-West territories. She had interests including cake decorating, baking, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Pam liked going to garage sales and thrifting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvid and Marlys (Hanson) Olson and her grandparents: Russel and Mildred (Olufson) Hanson, Henry and Myrtle (Wienke) Olson. Surviving family members include her two sisters: Patty (Steven) Gooch, Paula Olson (Charles Smock). Niece, Monique Gooch, Nephew, Lance Gooch. Great Niece Ava (Gooch) Toftness, Great Nephew Bentley Gooch. She leaves behind many relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Amery, Wisconsin with Pastor Keith Ruehlow officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at the Amery Cemetery following the service.
