Obituary

Paul Zemke, age 75 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Amery Regional Medical Center.

Paul was born on July 6, 1941 to Paul and Emily (Dietrich) Zemke. On September 3, 1983 he married Charon Klevgard in Watertown, South Dakota. Paul worked as a manager of 3 large trucking companies for many years as well as working on the farm. In his spare time he enjoyed making golf clubs and loved to spend time on the golf course with his wife. He loved spending time with family and friends and always was the "life of the party." He also was an avid Vikings fan and a Twins fan. He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge as well as the Silver Creek Lutheran Church.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Charon, 3 sons, Todd (Wendy) Zemke, Robbie Zemke, Brian (Kelly) Marsolek; a daughter, Pamela (Frank) LaManna; 14 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren; a brother, Rodney (Susan) Zemke and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sisters.

A Celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Silver Creek Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Becker officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment will be held at the Mount Hope Cemetery of Silver Creek following the service.
