Peter Melvin Dusick Jr., 94, of Luck, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Dove Healthcare in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

He was born on August 2, 1930 the son of the late Marie (Asmussen) and Peter Dusick Sr. and grew up on the farm in Boyd, Wisconsin. In March of 1950, Peter enlisted into the United States Army and served his country for the next 23 years until his retirement in 1973. He met the love of his life, Irene Lauba, while stationed in Germany. They were married in 1956, and celebrated 68 wonderful years together. He had a love for hunting, fishing and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Sr. and Marie; siblings, Alice Tio, Marjie Kowaski, Charles Dusick, Clarence "Bud" Dusick, Gerald Dusick and in infancy, Donna Mae Dusick and Harold Dusick, sister-in-law, Dorothy Dusick and brother-in-law, Clarence Tio.

Peter is survived by his wife, Irene, daughter, Kathy, siblings, James (Jane) Dusick, and Donald Dusick.

A private family funeral service will take place at a later date. Burial will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.
