Obituary

Robin Ray Brackee was born in Amery, Wisconsin on May 26, 1954 the son of Wallace Sr. and Mattie (Green) Brackee. His mother passed away when he was one month old and for the next three years he lived with his Aunt Lois Olson and her husband Walter. When his father remarried Jeannette (Blood) he moved back home with them. He grew up in rural Clayton, Wisconsin and was Baptized and Confirmed at Elim Lutheran Church in Range. He attended and graduated from Clayton High School. After graduation he attended trade school and worked as an RV Mechanic. He then went to Amery Auto Salvage where he worked for 15 years. Robin was a member of the Richardson Sportsman Club and served as president for several years. He was also someone who liked visiting with people, he always had a story to tell. His most recent work was as a chef at the Turtle Lake Casino. Robin retired due to health problems. Robin passed away suddenly at the Amery Hospital on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the age of 61 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wallace Sr. and Mattie, step-mother Jan and sister Duretta and, brother Jerry; step-sister Sharon Selle. . Surviving family members include his brother Wally (Bev) Brackee, sister-in-law Linda Brackee, brother Allan (Carole) Brackee; half-brother Richard (Chris) Brackee; nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Elim Cemetery in Range, Wisconsin.
