Rodney John Simonson was born on July 4, 1955 in New Richmond, Wisconsin the son of Melvin and Laura Simonson. He graduated from Glenwood City High School. Rodney enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. He died on Thursday July 7, 2011 in rural Amery, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Bonnie Steinert. Left to mourn are his brothers: Everett and Sheldon (Ruth) Simonson; sisters: Judy (Matt) Brockway, Sharon Fortunak, and Gloria (Kenrad) Anderson.
