Ronald C. Underwood, 86, of Dresser, WI, lost his battle with Alzheimer's and went home to be with the Lord on October 11th, 2016.
Ron was the oldest of two children born to Kenneth & Katherine (Kuntz) Underwood on February 24th, 1930 in Seattle, Washington.
In 1950, Ron joined the US Air Force. While enlisted he met Elaine J. Karlstad. They fell in love and were married in 1953 in the chapel at Fairchild Air Force base in Washington State. To this union, three children were born.
Ron had many hobbies; he loved flying and became a small plane pilot. Some people liked to bird watch, Ron liked to plane watch. Whenever he would hear a plane overhead, out the door he went.
He will be remembered most for his great sense of humor and his ability to always make you laugh. Ron was a people-person and spent his retirement years working at WalMart.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws William & Ellen Karlstad, his sister Marilyn, his sister in-law Priscilla Karlstad, and his son Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, his daughter Ellen (Christopher) McKinney, his son Jon (Kathy) Underwood, his 5 grandchildren, Lee & Jeffrey Bunting, Sara, Joshua, & William Underwood, along with many other family members and friends.
