Rose Marie Maus (Frank), April 14, 1945-August 27, 2018, passed away in her home after battling COPD for many years.

Rose was born in Maryland and graduated from Chestertown HS. She married Scott Kline and had one daughter, Carolyn. They moved to Minnesota shortly after. In 1976 she married David Maus and the family grew by attrition to include Paul, Bradley, and Theresa. David and Rose moved to Amery, WI in 1983 where they purchased the grocery store that came to be known as Maus' IGA. They lived and worked together every day.

Rose had various careers in her life. She was a bookkeeper for Standard Oil in Brooklyn Center, worked in the copy room at Henn. Co., in the business office at Henn. Co. Medical Center, Co-owner of IGA and The Heritage both in Amery. She enjoyed every new venture and made many friends along the way.

Rose was very involved with her church St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Amery where she faithfully served as Saturday Head Usher and Eucharistic Minister for many years until her health dictated she retire from these positions. But that didn't stop her from helping in the background. She also was a member of the Amery Community Club and the Amery Foundation.

In her spare time she attended church retreats which strengthened her faith and helped her stay strong for her long battle. Rose also loved many dogs who shared her love of the outdoors with her and David. Card club was also one of her pastimes where many friendships flourished over the years.

Rose was preceeded in death by her parents, John and Marie Frank, and Son-in-Law David Fox. She is survived by her most loving husband, David; Brother John (Jackie) Frank; Children Paul (Tammy) Maus of OK, Carolyn Fox of MN, Brad Maus of IA, And Theresa (James) Wetterstrom of MN; Grandchildren Logan, Austin, Jacob, Grace, and Chandler Maus, Nathanial Fox, Hanna Rieck and Jack Maus, and Alex and Kerstin Wetterstrom; 4 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind many dear friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery Thursday August 30 ^th 4PM-7PM. Funeral services are Friday, August 31, 2018 11am at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Amery, WI. There will be a viewing one hour before service.
