Ryan Jeffrey Schnell age 40, of Clayton, Wisconsin passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home.

Ryan was born on May 6, 1978 in Cumberland, Wisconsin to Jeffrey and Ann (Molls) Schnell. Ryan grew up near Clayton, Wisconsin and attended Clayton schools and graduated from Clayton High School in 1996. In his youth Ryan was a proud 4-H member and had involvement with the Cat Project, woodworking and cooking at the county fair. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at the Zion Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. Ryan sang in the choir and was a drummer in the band. After graduation Ryan attended the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) in 1998 for Automated Packaging. While in High School he worked at Dick's Fresh Market part time and on the weekends. After graduating college Ryan took a job in Baldwin, Wisconsin at Ideal Door where he worked for a short time before accepting a full time position at Dick's Fresh Market in 1999. In his free time he loved to go bowling and was the #1 bowler in Chetek and later on in Rice Lake. He also enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

In November of 2016 he was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme. Ryan worked hard thru his treatments to get back to work at Dick's Fresh Market and worked there until May of 2018.

Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; 2 daughters, Chloe and Bailey Schnell; parents, Jeffrey and Ann Schnell; a sister, Nikki Schnell; grandparents, Roman Molls, Shirley Schnell; a step-grandmother, Maxine Molls. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rose Molls and Harry Schnell and John & Geraldine Baldwin.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place from 4 – 7 PM on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, Wisconsin and for one hour prior to the services on Monday at the Church. Interment will take place following the luncheon at the West Clayton Covenant Cemetery.
