Shirley Hase age 69, of Cumberland, Wisconsin, formerly of Red Wing, Minnesota passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Shirley was born on September 22, 1947 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Walter and Alice Fischer. She married Joseph Hase in November of 1964 in Bay City, Wisconsin where she and Joe resided until their retirement in 2005. She worked for Jostens for 14 years until they closed their doors. She then worked for the Red Wing school system until she retired and moved to Wisconsin. In her free time she loved spending time outdoors. She enjoyed boating, her flowers, camping, 4 wheeling and shopping, but most of all loved spending time with her family
Shirley was survived by her mother Alice Fischer who recently passed away on October 14, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Hase; 3 children, Troy (Cindy) Hase, Jolynn Hase of Amery WI and Jason (Brenda) Hase of Cumberland WI; Grandchildren, Nicole, Brandon, Cody, Amanda, Briar and Tanner; great grandchild, Kolton; Sister Sharon (Richard) Hinrichs of Zumbrota MN. She is preceded in death by her father Walter Fischer.
A celebration of Life will be held on October 21st from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pottery Place Mall Banquet Center, 2000 Old West Main Street, Red Wing MN.
