Sonja Jean Rutcosky, age 82, of Amery, WI passed away on October 30, 2023.

On January 5, 1941, Sonja was born in Amery, WI to Peter and Thea (Everson). She grew up and attended school in Amery. Sonja married Stanley "Buck" Rutcosky, and to this marriage they had two children, Jeff and Shelley. She worked in retail for Ben Franklin for a number of years.

Sonja is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shelley Gaetz; and son-in-law Ben Gaetz. She is survived by her son, Jeff Rutcoksy; grandchildren, Katie (Jeremy) Varner, Bailey (Brandon) Armstrong, Trevor Rutcosky, Chandra Jean Rutcosky, and Ryan Stinnett; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Varner, Brailyn Armstrong, and Alana, Lynette, and Dion Rutcosky.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI.
