Steven James Peterson, 60, of Amery, passed away on December 21, 2024 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Steve was born in Osceola, Wisconsin to James and Kathleen Peterson (nee Kulzer) on May 5, 1964.  He went to school in Osceola.  Steve and former spouse, Jacki Griffin (nee Marshall), had three children together, Andrew, Alisha and Anthony, who they adore. He worked as a forklift operator for Andersen Windows for awhile.  Steve loved fishing.  He grew up fishing locally with his father and grandfather and continued the love with his sons. Steve had a passion for trout fishing, even tying his own handmade flies. He spent countless days on the Brule and Root Rivers. Steve also enjoyed hunting and four wheeler rides.

Steve is survived by his children, Alisha, and husband Robert Araujo and Anthony, and wife Serena Peterson; grandchildren, Kayli, Bellamy, Nora, Jaeger, Oakley and Meika; father, James Peterson and sisters, Jennifer, Becky and Patty. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steve was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Steven Peterson; mother, Kathleen Ajer and grandparents, Harlan and Mae Peterson and Leonard and Olga Kulzer.

A celebration of life will be held from 1pm to 4pm, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, Wisconsin.
