Trudy Jean Hanson, age 71, of Clayton, WI, passed away on July 25, 2025 at Cumberland Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 21, 1954 to Bill and Carol (Preble) Hanson. Trudy went to trade school to become a welder, and she put her skills to use making neon signs.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Calvin; and nephew, Justin. She is survived by her children, Jeannie Devereaux, Robert Morgenstern and Josh Morgenstern; grandchildren, Kyla, Mollee and David Morgenstern; sister, Rebecca Nelson; brothers, Bill and Pete Hanson; step-daughter, Patty Dahlin; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Volga Cemetery in rural Amery, WI.
