Wanda L. Boucher was born on November 19, 1955 in New Richmond, Wisconsin to Robert and Marcella Watson. Wanda grew up in the small town of Boardman, Wisconsin. She graduated from New Richmond High School in 1974. She worked at the JR Ranch Motel and also had countless baby sitting jobs. After graduating from high school, she married Russell Boucher of Boardman on November 16, 1974. Wanda currently lived in Amery with her husband Russ, her constant companion and her dog, George. In her younger years Wanda did wood crafting and was very good at it. She also enjoyed camping and did so for 22 years before buying a lake home in Amery. Wanda was a very caring person and fun to be around. She had many unique talents and endless, colorful ideas and was very full of life. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her. God had an intricate plan to weave her life with countless others and made her part of a beautiful masterpiece. She passed away at her home on Sunday, July 10, 2011 and is now at home with her Dad and Mom. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marcella. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Russell and a sister, Ferinda Watson of New Richmond, WI; special friends that were close to her, Amy Johnson and Judi Bjerklien, both of Amery, as well as countless other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Amery. A visitation will be held an hour before the service at the church. A private family interment will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Boardman Cemetery in Boardman, WI.
