William F. Janssen, Jr. of Danbury, Wisconsin passed away on December 7, 2024 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Bill was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Loretta and William F. Janssen, Sr. on November 8, 1942. He graduated from Bloomington High School. Bill married Laurie on March 17, 1977. He then worked many years as a lube engineer for Kelly-Williamson in Rockford, IL, and as an entrepreneur and salesman before he, along with his wife, Laurie, then successfully for 38 years ran B & L Distributors Inc., sporting goods, and wholesale fishing tackle company, along with a manufacturer of Bill's Worm for many years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Laurie; 2 children, Dan and Kim (Scott); 3 brothers, Mike, Jim, and Mark; 2 sisters, Teri and Kathy; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William F. Janssen, Sr.; mother, Loretta Janssen; and sister, Patricia Janssen Jiracek.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Amery, WI with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
